Berthold Moses Family Collection (AR 1342) [Digitized]

The collection contains documents pertaining to various Jewish youth movements in Germany with which Berthold Moses was involved (1919-1934) and family histories documenting the Moses family from the early 17th to mid 20th centuries.

Blau-Weiss Collection (AR 2892) [Digitized]

The collection includes a pin with the Blau-Weiss symbol accompanied by a leader card for Eli Schachtel. Also included is a contract between the Blau-Weiss workshop and Eli Schachtel.

Frederick Mechner Barnard (AR 25748) [Digitized]

This collection consists primarily of three notebooks relating to Barnard's membership in the Labor Zionist youth movement Tchelet Lavan (1932-1938) and assorted notes from his years at Manor Farm (1938-1940), a residence in the United Kingdom to which he was brought by the Kindertransport.

Julius Keller Collection (AR 3122) [Digitized]

The collection contains documents pertaining to Jewish youth movements in Mannheim, Germany, during the 1930s, including event programs, correspondence regarding the organization of group events, and articles about youth movement events. Of particular note is a handwritten letter from Martin Buber to Julius Keller with an invitation for a youth movement meeting at his house.

Jung-Juedisher Club Collection (AR 7126) [Digitized]

The collection contains documents and correspondence related to the Jung-Juedischer Club from Leipzig. Prominent topics in this collection are the organizational structures of the club, its activities and membership. The collection comprises organizational documents, such as bylaws, a vast amount of minutes from the Club’s monthly meetings and an ample amount of correspondence to and from the club.

Leo Gompertz collection (AR 1990) [Digitized]

The Leo Gompertz Collection primarily documents Leo Gompertz's search for information on Haus Berta, a recreation and training institution for Jewish youth during the late 1930s. The collection also includes a number of photographs of Haus Berta, its staff and residents, as well as some other documents on it and a few personal papers of Leo Gompertz.

Tagenbuchaufzeichnungen (ME 34) [Digitized]

This memoir is a diary by a young woman. The entries are addressed to someone named Fritz. The woman describes references to life in Kibbutz Hazorea and in the youth movement "Werkleute." She reflects on her own emotional life and larger issues of Jewish identity.
