Jewish Youth Movements Throughout History

The importance of highlighting the context and impact youth movements have had on Jewish cultural traditions and history is imperative to gaining a clearer understanding of Jewish experiences as historical events took place, as well as how those events have impacted Jewish life today.

The five partner organizations here at the Center for Jewish History hold dozens of collections and hundreds of books highlighting youths who pursued change at home and abroad, managed to sustain hope in times of despair, and endeavored to keep the memory and survival of their communities and society at large. We hope by browsing this libguide you learn more about their achievements, our collections, and how to experience these materials for yourself, first-hand.
