Student Visits

While visiting the Center for Jewish History, students will have the opportunity to explore our partners’ collections and get hands-on experience working with primary sources. We are happy to work with you on preparing a visit that would accommodate specific needs and interests of your students.

Email us your syllabus at inquiries@cjh.org and let’s take it from there!

CJH Facilities for Research and Cooperative Learning

The Center for Jewish History welcomes classes of all sizes for group instruction by offering several learning spaces created specifically for collaboration and instruction. Staff will be happy to work with you to provide the best space for your visit.

Depending on class size and technology requirements, the Center can offer:

  • Rooms that comfortably fit groups of anywhere from 8 to 200 students
  • Educational hardware such as screen projectors and audio/video teleconferencing.
  • Environments that encourage small discussions, collaborative group work, or large-scale lectures and presentations

*Not all rooms come equipped with every amenity. Please specify your needs so that we may pair you with a proper space. A limited number of laptops are available for students to use during their group instruction. Please inquire about laptop availability when planning your visit.
