Guide Overview

The Center for Jewish History provides a collaborative home for five partner organizations and their collections, whereby each partner preserves a different facet of world Jewry. The collections and library materials found in our stack spaces can be accessed by requesting materials via our online catalog and visiting the Lillian Goldman Reading Room to conduct research.

The Hadassah Records on Long Term Loan at the American Jewish Historical Society is comprised of an array of collection material representing not just the organization, but various other aspects of Jewish politics, activism, and community involvement. This Research Guide aims to provide an overview of this collection as well as highlight related collections and library materials for further research at the Center.

If you have any questions about any of the collections listed in this guide or how to request them for use in CJH's Lillian Goldman Reading Room, please contact our Reference staff at inquiries@cjh.org.
